AIESEC Agra in News!

Hey Agra!

Are you ready for the next BIG THING that is going to take the whole city by storm in the coming months?

AIESEC is here! Yes, you read it right, after a long, subtle wait for a platform for the young, AIESEC; the world's largest youth-run non-profit organization that is focused on providing a platform for the development of leadership capabilities and engages students and graduates in international programmes, is finally on the doorstep of the city of The Taj. What makes AIESEC unique is the youth driven impactful experience that it offers to its members. AIESEC Agra has been established as an expansion by AIESEC Jaipur with the help of its Expansions Vice-President, Apurv Gupta to make use of the huge untapped corporate environment here and the oozing enthusiasm of the Gen Y of Agra under its Local Committee Coordinator, Mansweeny Chanana.

AIESEC is here to actively engage the youth of Agra in exchange programmes with its member countries. It offers young people the opportunity to truly be global citizens, to change the world, and to get the experience and skills that matter today. Along with international internships and leadership experiences, AIESEC offers the chance to participate in virtual global discussions, virtual team work experiences, online knowledge management and hundreds of physical meetings/conferences, learning teams, coaching with top executives and more. The AIESEC platform is a unique environment that enables people to explore and develop their potential and creates the opportunity for development of defined leadership competencies.

On an individual level, AIESEC enables students to live the AIESEC Experience by taking on leadership opportunities, gaining business skills, and connecting to a global network of students by attending international conferences and interning abroad.
The AIESEC Agra team was recruited in the month of March and has already begun preparing for the big-bang event, ‘Utsav’ which it’ll use to kick-off its active operations in the city. Utsav is an initiative taken up by AIESEC Agra. This event is aligned to the cause of building an environment that helps improve the quality of life that is faced by the underprivileged children in our city. It is the creation of an opportunity to help them discover and develop their potential in creative exercises such as Art, Dance, Drama, Music, and Craft etc. Come June and the people of Agra will get to know something about which they’ve only heard of.

So Agra, get ready to be a part of the change.
